For the money this sweeper is ok. Assembly is relatively straight forward. The rear vertical stays to keep the bag open are somewhat flimsy. Otherwise unit does as described and is a real timesaver versus raking and picking up by hand.

When we recieved the lawn sweeper and got it together , we realized there was a part missing. The company sent us a new part and we used it that day. It works well.It is so nice to not have clumps of grass in the yard. it is easy to dump the grass out too. I am very pleased with my purchase. Just wish it folded for easy storage.

The quality control during manufacture of the sweeper body was poor. Holes in sheets of metal were not aligned properly before welding so bolts would not fit in holes. I had to drill holes to insert bolts. Holes in pins were also too small so cotter keys did not fit.
The sweeper can not be used at speeds over 3mph. This is less than half the speed I normally mow with my John Deere tractor. You also can only set the sweeper a half inch from the top of the grass. So, it will not sweep twigs or leaves down in the grass. If you do not follow either of these rules, the gears on the inside of the wheels quickly become stripped. (They became stripped in the first hour I used the sweeper.)
This is one of the worst tools I have ever purchased. I strongly urge readers to avoid it.

I have owned one of these for 2 yrs. The brush bar broke after 1 yr of use, due to inadequate design engineering. The idiots drilled a hole in the center of the brush bar to mount the brushes. The holes are not perfectly lined up, which causes 1 side to be weaker, and even if they were, the brush bar would break as it is only slightly over 1/2" thick, with holes that just shy of 1/4". Do the math, it will break at the weakest point, where the holes are drilled. Agrifab replaced my first brushbar, and the wheels, cause when the brush bar breaks, it will ruin the gears in the wheels, which are plastic (dumb idea, but makes it cheaper !!!!)
I have welded the bar back together, reinforced it, and it will hold now. Agrifab cant figure out the the bar that works on a 38" sweeper is way to fragile to hold up on a 46" sweeper. Dont buy the 46", the 38" holds up pretty good, but the wheels will also not hold up if your doing a large lawn. 44" smartsweep has some better characteristics, but it still has plastic drive wheels. The holes are also drilled in the 44" brush bar, so i dont think that will hold up either.
